How To Help

A young girl playing violin during Ambassador Ryan Crocker’s visit to Afghanistan National Institute of Music in 2011. (Department of State)

Due to the capture of Afghanistan by the Taliban, until further notice all funds raised since August 15, 2021, will be used to safely evacuate Afghan musicians from the country. Our founder, William Harvey, taught violin at Afghanistan National Institute of Music from 2010 to 2014 and is presently managing a WhatsApp group representing more than 250 musicians and family members whose lives are at risk, particularly since the assassination by the Taliban of folk musician Fawad Andarabi. Your generosity literally saves lives.
