Indianapolis, September 17, 2026 — Cultures in Harmony has accepted an invitation, received on April 21, 2026, from Thomas “Tata” Kinge, founder and CEO of Phio Phio Entertainment, to participate in this project in Cameroon during the last week of this year. A summary of our previous work in Cameroon in 2009 and 2013 may be found here. The text of Tata Kinge’s invitation reads as follows:
Sir,
On behalf of the organizing committee, and in my capacity as the Founder and Head of the event, I hereby, officially bring to your notice the celebration of the Second edition of the International Day of CHA CHA MUSIC 2026 in BONAKANDA VILLAGE. I as founder and CEO of PHIO PHIO ENTERTAINMENT Inc. Tata Kinge (Sir TK), prominent International Cameroonian born Music Artist in Colaboration with the Regional Delegation of Arts and Culture South West Region, Cha Cha Eluweh Dance Group of Cameroon, Phio Phio Talk(TV), other Colaborators/Friends are organizing the Second edition of the International Day of Cha Cha Music scheduled to take place from the 29th to 30th of December 2026 at the Bonakanda Village Field -Buea.
Sir, this two-days event is placed under the patronage of the President of the National Athletic Federation of Cameroon. Mr. MOTOMBI MBOME Emmanuel, a dynamic youth and a public opinion leader followed by so many youths, who has also been a strong supporter behind the success of Sir TK-(Tata Kinge) in his Music Career.
This event is a crowd puller as it will showcase different cultural values of Cameroon and beyond. Cha Cha music in its cultural and modern form. It will be a suitable platform where the youth of Cameroon and beyond will turn out massively and raise their voices for peace, unity and living together in harmony which are the virtues advocated by the Head of State His Excellency President Paul BIYA.
The organizing committee, also took into consideration, the missions of the Ministry of Arts and Culture; that of structuring all artistic and cultural sub-sectors nationwide in accordance to Law N0¬2020//011 of July 2020.
Sir, the major activities earmarked during this grand cultural Jamboree include:
1) Live Musical Concert;
2) Beauty Pageant (Miss Cha Cha Music);
3) Cha Cha Music Awards;2) Master Classes and Workshops on how to foster Cha Cha Music globally.
3) Community Outreach (donations to orphanages and IDPs
4) Sports (female tug of war, a mini marathon);
5) Human Investment (clearing, and sweeping of the Bonakanda Village
6) Gastronomy, exhibit traditional dishes
7) History of Cha Cha Music.
8) History of Bonakanda Village,
9) Dance Competition between Children, Youth, Elderly.
10) Exhibition of Crafts and others.
The event starts 10am and ends 10pm.
