Its membership changes between 3 and 100 members, according to the repertory; the members come from different cities and play instruments ranging from rubab to guitar to tanbur. The ensemble played in Afghan television in 2015 and 2017. Its founder, who is also the arranger, taught violin in Afghanistan National Institute of Music (founded by Dr. Ahmad Sarmast) from 2010 to 2014.
